Atmel awards SEH-A with annual Supplier of the Year
SEH has been honored by Atmel Semiconductor as its World Wide Silicon supplier
of the year. It is an Award for Continued Excellence in 2003-2004.
This is the highest supplier recognition given by Atmel, and SEH has received
this acknowledgement each of the last three times it has been awarded.
Dr. T. C. Wu, Atmel’s Executive Vice President, made the presentation to Mr.
Yasuhiko Saitoh, SEH America’s President, he accepted on behalf of SEH
worldwide. The ceremony took place in the boardroom at Atmel’s San Jose
headquarters. Mr. Saitoh was joined by Global Account Manager Steven Shimada
and Vice President Parker Brinson. |

Mr. Shimada stated, “This award is the culmination of many people putting forth
extra effort everyday for our customers. It requires “attention to detail” from
Customer Service to Shipping staff in order to ensure our customers have a
positive impression. A good example of the service provided is when SEH
America’s production fell behind in deliveries early this year because of a
major ice storm.” |

“It took expedited shipments for nearly three months to keep Atmel’s
production lines running. Keeping our commitment to Atmel required near flawless
communication and execution every day. I’d especially like to give credit to our
local Customer Service interface team of Diana Tobias, Julie Parmentier and Don
Wilkinson for their efforts.”
